Occurring
for 2 hours
Venue
Methodist Church Hall
Address
High Street, Navenby, LN5 0EN

To show our appreciation to all the people involved in the printing and distribution of the Graffoe Link magazine, which reaches every house in our parish, we are holding a ‘Thank you’ Tea Party on Saturday 21st June

This will take place in the Methodist Church Hall in Navenby from 2-4 pm. It will be an opportunity for all those currently and previously involved in any way in the production and distribution of the Graffoe Link to meet up with each other
and spend an enjoyable couple of hours socialising over tea/coffee and cake.

All those currently involved should have received their own personal invitation, but we should also like to include all those who have been involved in the past, but, for whatever reason, are no longer able to do it. We do hope that as many of you as possible will be able to join us.

For catering purposes, it would be appreciated if you could inform Beth Devonald, [email protected], or 01522 810030, if you hope to come.

TO LOVE AND SERVE THE LORD course

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
possibly Bassingham
Address
, United Kingdom

‘To Love and Serve the Lord’ is the sort of course you can do just because you’re interested, simply because you want to explore your faith or to be more confident in what you believe. Just for the fun of it! You can also use it as the foundation course for further training as an Authorised Lay Minister. ALMs are authorised to be pastoral visitors, to lead public worship, to be involved with children’s and youth work and in evangelism. It’s very much in line with the ‘Time to Change Together’ initiative. This isn’t the sort of course where you have to write essays, but there will be some ‘homework’: something to read, something to think about, something to discover.

For more info or to book your place onthe course please contact Rev’d Lorna on [email protected]
...or speak to your incumbent.
