“I will tell you as best I can how I approach prayer. May our dear Lord grant to you, and to everybody, to do it better than I” Martin Luther (1535)

This course aims to help people explore different ways to approach prayer and how to grow in confidence in your prayer life. The weekly programme will consist of a 20-minute Introduction. 20-minute with group leaders and 20-minutes in feedback. Finally, 20+minutes for refreshments.

AN AWAKENING:
From Kindergarten Prayer to a Benedictine Bombshell
(Laying a Foundation)

Week 2: 17th November
HOW AND WHEN OUGHT WE PRAY:
Jesus said, ‘Pray like this’ - a Baseline for beginners
(Learning to string a few words together)

Week 3: 24th November
BUILDING A PRAYERFUL COMMUNITY:
When every day, fills every prayer.
Resources available

LET YOUR LITTLE LIGHT SHINE:
What Benedict’s ‘School of the Lord’s Service’ can teach us!
(Launching out on your own).
The whole of life as prayer.

St. Peters Church, Navenby, is situated just off the A607 on Church Lane. It was built around 1180 and has been the centre of the village community and the place of christian worship ever since. Today there is a faithful and welcoming church community, committed to serving the community and passing on the Christian faith to the next generation.
