St Michael's Waddington Wild Church is not ‘normal church’ held outside. Rather it is a way of encountering God, the Divine Creator, through Creation. We meet outside in the Church grounds, and whenever a group of believers meet together the gathering is Church, and whenever we invite God into our midst Wild things can happen... even more so when we are gathered in nature.
First Saturday of the month
Our main weekly service involving singing hymns and songs, bible readings, prayers, a sermon and holy communion.
An opportunity to learn new songs and hymns with refreshments.
Every Monday we gather as a community to pray with so many others around the world through Morning Prayer. Through prayers and readings we bring our focus at the start of the week on to God. In prayer we bring to God our church, our community and our concerns of the world.
Our Warm Space is a place for company, refreshments, a jacket potato lunch and afternoon activities. All are welcome

Dementia Adventurers is an informal support group for those living with dementia and their families/carers.
St Michael's Church are delighted to be the venue for the Beacon Café.
The Beacon Café is a new military and emergency services focussed Night Light Café.
Come along to The Beacon Cafe and be a part of a community that values your service - past and present.
Serving in the military or emergency services means being part of a team - but sometimes, you need a space outside of work to talk, reflect, or enjoy the company of others who understand your journey.

Each week we gather online to pray for the life of the church and the community of Waddington. The service is led by a member of the team and lasts about 30 minutes.
Whatever loss or storm you are walking through we will walk with you. Starting Wednesday 15th January between 6pm - 8pm at St Michael’s Church Waddington join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month to get support and share with others in a café style format. Refreshments provided.

2nd and 4th Friday of the month
Open to all. An opportunity to connect with others from within the community, have a coffee and a bacon roll, stock up on cake at the cake stall, browse the selection of stalls and have a go at the raffle.
Our new interactive all age service. Start with breakfast and a chance to do the activities.
With a short service including singing, game, story, talk and prayers.
Second and fourth Sunday of the month
A quiet service following liturgy of Evening Prayer in different forms. (BCP, Common Worship, Celtic, Taize).
You’re invited to Alpha, a place to explore the Christian faith in an easy and friendly environment.
Each week grab some food (provided) and chat with others before watching a video exploring a question of faith. Then there's plenty of time for cake and space to share your thoughts in small groups – you can say anything you like or nothing at all.
There’s no follow up, no charge and never any pressure. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited. So why not see where your curiosity takes you?

St Michael's After School Hub is a free after school club for primary aged children where we tell stories, explore ideas, share snacks, crafting activities, play games and have fun!
We meet twice monthly, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month in term time from 3.30pm to 4.45pm.
Our ethos:
Being a church club, we tend to focus on Bible stories and from time to time suggest that children and their parents and carers might like to come to special services (e.g., The Christmas Crib Services, Mothering Sunday and Harvest).
We aim to provide the children with an enjoyable time and feel comfortable in the church surroundings.
The Club is registered with the Diocese of Lincoln Children and Youth.
Attendance is free and we welcome all primary aged children in our community.

The 3rd Friday evening of the month, where we will rest and relax around coffee and companionship; Where we share space and stillness, conversation and collaboration, as each needs and enter into a time of space and graciousness together.
Is this cafe church? Maybe in that we meet over coffee and are likely to gently talk or quietly contemplate about our journey with "God" or however we term and envisage the Divine...
Is this ContemplativeFireLincs? A little in that we will still offer Contemplative engagement, creative prayer stations and mindfulness colouring table and the space to make the time yours as you need it...
But its maybe more than that - it's maybe a chance to be friends and family instead of strangers gathered together, to share the graciousness of hospitality mixed with the blessing of acceptance however that looks for us.
This isn't about being anything other than who you are and being able to be that person in gentle conversation or mindful contemplation in community with others.
This isn't about conforming to an agenda but growing together, sharing or resting as you need.
This isn't about being convinced, but having the talks or finding the stillness in silence as you want.
