St Mary the Virgin , Swineshead

Welcome to St Mary the Virgin Church in Swineshead , Lincolnshire. You are all  very welcome to come and attend one of our services and our events.  There is usually a cup of tea or coffee on offer after the service. We welcome everybody. While we await the appointment of a new Vicar, enquiries about weddings, baptisms and funerals are still very welcome. Please see the relevant pages on this website for further information and contact details.

The church hall is available  for hire . It is a  very nice venue with lavatory ( including a disabled lavatory )  and kitchen facilities for hire for any events such as weddings, baptisms, adult or children's parties  and following a   funeral, for example . Please email  the church website  and your email  will be forwarded to the bookings team .

We our part of the Haven Group of Parishes which  includes St Mary's Swineshead, St Swithun's Church Bicker, St Mary and the Holy Rood Church Donington, St Mary's Church Sutterton and St Peter and St Pauls Wigtoft.

Services for September 2026 – St Mary’s Church, Swineshead

Each Wednesday, there will be a Said Service of Holy Communion in Church at 10am.

6th September
A United Service for the Haven Group will be held at 11am at St Swithun's Church, Bicker.
Revd Mark’s final service.

13th September
There will be a Service of Holy Communion at 11am.

20th September
The third Sunday in the month will be a Morning Service at 11am.

27th September
Harvest Festival Service at 3pm. There will be no morning service that day.

Going forward, there will be a Morning Service at 11am on the first and third Sunday of the month and a Service of Holy Communion at 11am on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.
