The Act of Remembrance on was marked at St Edith’s. the community were welcomed, and we offered our thanks to everyone who decorated our church with a wonderful display of poppies.

A heartfelt expression of respect was read by Lorraine Curtis followed by the playing of the Last Post the two minute silence and the Reveille. The names of those who gave their lives in both wars from the Anwick Community were read out.

Thank you to everyone for making the day special. Following the Remembrance we all enjoyed tea/coffee and homemade cakes.
