St Mary's Hitcham

Welcome to St Mary's Church Hitcham. Growing in the love of Christ and sharing His love with others.

Why not join us for one of our services:

- Sunday 9am Contemporary Communion Service (3rd Sunday Worship & Praise)

- Sunday 11am Traditional Communion Service

- 5th Sunday of the month 8am Book of Common Prayer Service and 10am Joint Service

- Wednesday 10.30am Traditional Communion Service.

St Mary’s Hitcham is a ‘gathered’ church which means that people join us from Burnham, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Stoke Poges and many other places. If you are looking for a lively, loving community where you can find out more about faith and how to grow with Jesus’ love, why not come and visit us.

We are a Church with both contemporary and traditional elements and have a real heart for mission. We believe in bringing Church to the people, not people to the church.

We continue to live stream our Sunday 9am service on Facebook and You Tube, though all our welcome to come to the church. We also have a Wednesday Communion service at 10.30am. What is really interesting is that many more than our congregation are watching the live streaming with new people also engaging and continue to do so. Do join us live or catch up anytime when you can.

Being welcoming, hospitable and sharing with our Church family and wider community is incredibly important to all of us here. If there is an excuse to gather for lunch, a party, a picnic, we’ll find it!

We also try to share Christ’s love in more practical ways through helping families, supporting charities in our local area and visiting those in nursing homes and the elderly. Many have found a new home here at St Mary’s Hitcham – we’d love for you to join us- face to face or on line.

"The parish of Hitcham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
