In March 2019 the Heritage Lottery Fund section [Phases 1-3] of our project ended. We celebrated the end of this successful partnership on March 22nd with John Williams who represented the National Lottery Heritage Fund Committee for Yorkshire and the Humber in the presence of the Bishop of Grimsby and the Mayor of North Lincolnshire. At the evening event our architect, Armine Sutton, presented the image of the Phase 4 extension.

By 2020 we had raised the £300,000 needed for the extension to provide 3 toilets, a small commercial kitchen and a lobby. We are delighted to have reached this target and appointed the main contractor. Work started in January 2021 but unfortunately, work was halted in June as the contractor walked off-site. A new contractor was appointed and work re-started. After further delays we are delighted to see that the beautiful new extension is now almost completed.
