Holy Trinity Church Flower Festival

Community_news

As part of the VE Day Celebrations Holy Trinity hosted a Flower Festival and we had 25

entries. I95 people voted for their favourite, and we had more than 200 people and dogs visit our Church. The church smelt and looked wonderful, and everyone enjoyed looking at the displays with some people unable to choose a favourite on the basis that they were all wonderful.

John Thompsons photographs of Barrow during the war created a lot of interest and discussion and we were treated to nostalgic violin music by Mary Butcher. The whole event connected family and friends and enabled people to visit our wonderful church some for the first time.

Congratulations go to the residents of Crosshill House for being the most voted for entry. Image of their entry is included.
