Julian Prayer is named after Julian of Norwich, a fourteenth century mystic.
It is the practice of contemplative prayer and meditation in the Christian tradition were a small group of people come together in prayerful silence to wait upon God, to listen to God and to meet God in silent awareness without hymns or liturgy.
It could best be described as ‘prayer of the heart’.
Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. In the winter months the meeting is held in the Vicar’s Rooms and in the summer in our beautiful ancient church.

Welcome to Holy Trinity Church in rural Barrow-upon-Humber.
