This lovely annual event includes refreshments, tombola, and raffle as always.
The Goxhill Singers will once more perform a selection of seasonal songs both days at 3.30pm and if you are very good, Santa might even put in an appearance.

There will also be the opportunity to place the name of a departed loved One on our Memory Tree.

We are very excited to announce that this year we have arranged to collect new toys for local children in our hospitals on Christmas Day. So, if you would like to contribute, please feel free to bring a new toy in an open gift bag to place under the Christmas Tree and make a poorly child feel a little better. The gift bag must be open to ensure the present reaches a child of the right age and sex please.

Admission is free, but donations for the Upkeep of the Church would be appreciated.

Please note: If you are a business who would like to display a tree or an individual who wants to include a tree in memory of someone special, please see the contact details below.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without Carols, the traditional festive songs that in some cases can be traced back hundreds of years telling of the birth of Jesus.
You are most welcome to join us in this community event to celebrate the start of the Christmas season through the Nativity Story and song. All are welcome whether regular churchgoers, enquirers or once a year attendees.

Christingle Celebration

Occurring
for 45 mins
Venue
All Saints
Address
All Saints Church, Church Street, Goxhill, North Lincolnshire, DN19 7HX, United Kingdom

The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit during the service. Christingles are made from an orange decorated with red tape, sweets and a candle. With your help, Christingle raises vital funds to help children who are facing Christmas alone and are unable to cope. Our Christingle celebration is an opportunity to bring our whole community together, to share the Christian story and to experience the joy and wonder of this well-loved Christmas tradition.
Each element of a Christingle has a special meaning and helps to tell the Christian story:
• The orange represents the world
• The red ribbon (or tape) symbolises the love and blood of Christ
• The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God’s creations
• The lit candle represents Jesus’s light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.
Christingle collections raise millions of pounds for The Children’s Society to support their work with young people who are experiencing a range of complex issues, and who feel alone. The hope is to bring love to the hearts of children who feel ignored, sanctuary to the lives of those who feel unsafe, and peace to the minds of young people who feel like they simply don’t matter.
Through Christingle, you can help give a child their first Christmas free from sadness and fear.
