St Helen's, Burgh on Bain

December 2025: We’re pleased to announce that The Friends of St Helen’s Church & Community Centre has received a grant of £15,000 from the East Lindsey Investment Fund which will allow us to replace the (defunct!) heating at the church. We can now use the building as both church and community centre in the cooler months and run many more community events. We have installed modern infrared electric heating which is suitable for an ancient church building and allows us to use green electricity to run it. As the only public space in the village, and with full agreement of the Village Church Committee and Parochial Church Council, The Friends charity can now meet the needs of the community in the village which previously required car journeys (or meant no event!).
