Thomas the Pilgrim Mouse is a character that was created by the Church Wardens and volunteers at St Andrews Church based on a series of small mice displayed in the Church .Thomas and his adventures are to be found on the Facebook page: Adventures of Thomas Pilgrim mouse The cards in the featured image are available as a pack of 5 cards ( one of each design ) at the St Andrews Church Coffee morning on 21/10 and the St Andrews Church Christmas Craft fair on 15th and 16th November at a price of £5.00 per pack
A collage of pictures from the lecture by Jean Howard held on Friday 18/07/25 at St Andrews Church.We are really proud of the fact that these lectures are becoming an annual event.Last year the subject was Jesse Stephenson the suffragette, this year was Winifred Dallas York ,Duchess of Portland.Two woman of equal determination albeit of different social class.Both women lived in our neck of the woods within three miles of each other ,Jesse at South Thoresby and Winifred in Walmsgate.A big thank you to Jean for delivering a fascinating entertaining and seamless lecture.Also a big thank you to all who attended.It looks like everyone enjoyed the lecture and the coffee and chats afterwards
