The Alpha course is an interactive series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly, and no-pressure environment, suitable for anyone curious about life, faith, and purpose.
Who Can Attend?
Alpha is open to anyone curious about Christianity, regardless of background or beliefs, and participants are under no obligation to follow up or join a particular denomination.

A very warm welcome from all of us at St Mary's! 

We are a friendly congregation and we constantly try to live out what it means to be an 'Open Door Church', with something for every one.

We have a weekly 10.45am All Age Service, with a Tots' Chapel and always love to see new families.  There are lots of activities on Wednesdays, and hold various 'explorer courses' and family events from time to time. We also maintain a 9am BCP service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. And of course we're always here for christenings, weddings: just ring Rev Hugh on 0151 546 4266 or email [email protected]

So whether you are coming in to join us on a Sunday or through the week, or as we move out to share God's Good News in our community; whether you're old or young or some-where in-between, you are very welcome!
