Stay and Play

Stay and Play is an event for parents and children aged up to 4 years can come and play. There is plenty of choice of games to play with, crafts and stories to share.
Fruit and snacks are on offer too. Parents and children then wrap up with everyone joining in with a game/song/dance.

Coffee Morning

Every Tuesday at for 2 hours

Coffee morning is open to anyone.
Pop in between 10:00 and 12:00 midday for tea, coffee and warm toast!
Friendly chats and sometimes even a quick pop quiz are on offer.
A small donation is suggested.

Preloved Items Event

Every Tuesday at for 2 hours

St Athanasius church is open for donations and collections of preloved items. From clothes to toys; most household items will be accepted to be passed on for others to make use of.
Our volunteers will be around from 10am to help with any donations or collections. Just bring a bag!

Family fun club is open to all families. From half past six, there will be games and crafts on offer.
Refreshments are on sale also.

Sunday Morning Worship

Everyone is welcome to Sunday morning worship, starting at 11:00am every Sunday morning.
Our services are relaxed and friendly. They include popular worship songs and music, often including hymns on the organ.
Families are more than welcome to join and Sunday School is on offer.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Party

You are warmly invited to join us for our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Party on
📅 Tuesday 17th February
⏰ 2:30–4:00pm

This will be a relaxed and friendly afternoon for all ages, with:
🥞 The chance to decorate your own pancake with a variety of toppings
🎈 Simple pancake games
☕ A lovely opportunity to spend time together as a community

💷 Cost: £1 per person, payable on the day
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Open to all ages – children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ash Wednesday Service

Join us for a reflective service for Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent. Following a traditional Church of England order of service, the evening will include scripture, prayer, a short reflection, and the Imposition of Ashes, reminding us of our need for repentance, renewal, and God’s mercy.
The service will be presided over by Rev Gill Hoy and offers a quiet, prayerful space to pause, reflect, and prepare our hearts for the Lenten journey ahead. All are welcome.
