This is the main service at St Peter's and is suitable for all ages. There are usually more people at this service and we try to keep them relaxed and welcoming to all ages, young and old.
The service starts with a time of all-age worship. Except for our First Steps group (3-5 year olds), all the children join us in church for about 20 minutes before joining their own groups. A creche is available for children under the age of 3 at the back of church and parents and carers may wish to make use of it at this time. Parents with small children are more than welcome to remain in church throughout the service should they wish to. The music group and the organ lead the singing.
Transport can be arranged for those, particularly the elderly, who might otherwise find it difficult to get to this service. Please contact the Hub for information.
After the service there is the opportunity to meet others over a cup of tea or coffee in the room at the back of church.
We have a communion service once per month, which finishes at the later time of 12noon. During school holidays some services are completely all-age and finish at 11.30am.
