Each day this Advent put aside one item for the Ormskirk Foodbank (see suggestions above) and bring them into St James Church on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Last day for collections is Sunday 17th December after which they will be transferred to Ormskirk Foodbank for distribution.

An opportunity for the church family and others to come together in prayer for the Lord to continue to grow His church here at St James. A short form of evening prayer, time for quiet reflection and time for open prayer.

The Ormskirk & West Lancs Homes for Ukraine Support Group provides ESOL classes at St James Westhead every Thursday. Refreshments available.

ESOL class for beginners every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

ESOL class for Improvers every Thursday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

More sponsors are needed in the area for Ukrainians still fleeing from the conflict. Please contact us for more information.

Time to chill-out with old and new friends in the warmth of the Fellowship Area at St James or outside in the sunshine.
A cuppa with toasted tea-cakes is a favourite! And homemade cakes disappear quickly!

Please join us in church for our service of morning prayer. a quieter, more reflective service with organ music and hymn & service books.
The service is not available on Zoom this week.

Although children & young people are welcome to join in any of our Sunday services, our Under 18s leadership team will be there to provide activities and learning opportunities for them outside the service.
A small table & chairs are available in church for younger children who may wish to be near their accompanying adult.

The Fourth Sunday of Every Month

A community event at Westhead Village Hall hosted by St James Westhead - see old friends and make new friends. Informal get together with drinks and cakes and something organised each time - a speaker, something to watch, something to take part in, etc. Watch out for the flyers and posters

Our new gardening tools are waiting for you to come and join them - for adults and children!
If you would like to join us and have a gentle Saturday morning work-out please come along. A great family activity or come alone. No fabulous knowledge of plants is necessary. Refreshments available too.
