This is an excellent opportunity to play a bigger role in the church life or just understand more.
Hear the reports (that require a lot of time to produce) and gain a better understanding of what is going on in this Church, how your money is being spent, and maybe make your own suggestions for consideration.
• We are looking for 3 Deanery Synod representatives
(meetings are 3 times a year at different Churches in the Deanery)
• You have an opportunity to elect 2 Churchwardens
• New Parochial Church Council members are needed. (Meetings are 6 times a year and
mostly on Zoom)

St James Westhead

We worship every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.  Children & young people are welcome at all of our services.  Our Under 18s leadership team provide age appropriate learning at Jaffa, Jesus And Friends is Fun for All, an activity area for younger children allows them to be in church close to their accompanying adult or they can join in with the congregation.  The service is usually live streamed and the recording available to view on youTube by 2 p.m. following the service.

Our Tuesday evening Prayer in the Evening and LIFE discussion groups run on Zoom, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes take place at church on Thursdays, church is open for Coffee & Chat every Saturday morning and community gardening group also takes place on Saturday mornings - dates advertised.  Details for all of these can be found on A Church Near You or on our Facebook page.  

St James' is a friendly, welcoming church.  As individuals we purposefully seek to grow in our spiritual life.  Together, we strive to be a key part of our local community by sharing Jesus' love through word and action and we work closely with Westhead St James Church of England Primary School which is in the village.
