On the second Friday each month at 10.30am St John's Church gives an opportunity for people to come to our church hall and to enjoy coffee (proper coffee, not instant!) or tea and a selection of homemade cakes, and to have some company and chat about anything they choose. It is open to anyone, not limited to churchgoers. And it's free. Yes, that's right, no charge is made or donation invited. We regularly have more than a dozen and numbers are gradually increasing. It's just a pleasant way to spend an hour or so in company. Come and give it a try. You will be welcome.

We hold this event each month but we may take a break in August depending on the numbers of those available to run it.

Welcome to St John’s, Birkdale. We are a friendly church, seeking to be God centred, relationship driven and life transforming. Our Sunday morning service includes a mixture of old and new music, prayers and a bible based talk. You are assured of a warm welcome. Do please come and join us!
