Groups, Courses and Activities

Crossroads Youth runs term time 6.45pm - 8.30pm for secondary school age children. Each week there's a talk from the bible, fun and games and time to chat in small groups. We long for these young people to see that Jesus is good news for them in an often confusing world.

Crossroads Kids runs every Monday during term time from 6pm- 7.30pm. There is always a fun activity on offer like games, craft and baking. Plus, time to sing and look at the bible in a fun and creative way. There is also a free parents cafe. Its a great opportunity to get to know other parents/guardians and hear what the children are learning about.

We have a number of connect groups running during the week. They are a great opportunity to connect with each other and hear God speak to us through His word. They are also a place where we care for one another, as questions, listen and offer support. Please reach out to us via our website for further information.

Christianity Explored is an informal series of seven sessions for those who would like to investigate the Christian faith, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, why he came, and what it means to follow him.

You will not be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you are free to ask any questions you like. If you prefer, you can just come along and listen.

We also run a Hope Explored course twice a year.

If you would like to know the date of the next course please have a look on our website.

Whilst we don't have trained counsellors available we would still love to meet up with you and see how the bible speaks into every circumstance of our lives with grace to help us in our time of need. Please contact our vicar via our website if you would like someone to talk to.

We have a lively Girls Brigade group for primary school girls. We support the aim of GB to help girls become followers of Christ through badgework and devotional activities. We offer a wide and varied program of events throughout the year. Please reach out via our website for more information.

Our Coffee & chat group for the over 60s meets on the second Wednesday of the month in our church building from 10.30am - 11.45am. You are most welcome to join us.

We also have a monthly lunch club on the third Wednesday of the month. Please contact us to book your place.

Our Happy Mondays group meets during term time on Mondays from 10am - 11.30am. For babies and children we have bananas, snacks, juice and water, ride-ons, a kitchen, puzzles and books followed by singing and a Bible story time. For their grown ups, there's tea and coffee and time to chat. We aim to be a group where real friendships are formed. For more information please reach out to us via our website.
