Minster Cafe is a community cafe offering low cost home-cooked food, a space for community and engagement with different events throughout the year. Open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am - 2pm.
We are also open on the 4th Saturday when the Makers Market is in Church Square.
We have a small play area which is available for children to use if accompanied by an adult who is a paying customer at the cafe. We operate a pay it forward scheme too so everyone feels welcome.

Come and share Holy Communion together. Every week our gathering is slightly different as we seek to gather together as a family of God. When families meet together sometimes we do what grandad wants, sometimes we do what the children want! But no matter what we all agree that being together is the main thing. Come and be together, worshipping together, focussed on God - the heart of the family.

Our friendly Midweek Communion service is at 12 noon on Wednesdays. A small but welcoming congregation gathers for Common Worship Communion.

During this worship gathering we will process with palm crosses; remembering Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

As we spend time together we turn our faces towards the events of the week, moving slowly towards the cross of Good Friday.

A reflective gathering with Holy Communion and the opportunity to be anointed with oil for healing

On this evening we remember the Last Supper Jesus ate with his friends, where he washed their feet to show he came to serve. In this evenings service we share communion and wash one another feet.

An opportunity for families of children and young people with SEN to gather for worship in a more relaxed inclusive space and style this Easter.

In this solemn and reflective service we mark the final hour of Jesus crucifixion. In music, silence and prayer we hold this awful, holy moment together when the Son of God died and all hope seemed lost.
