St Peter’s Church Newton-le-Willows

St Peter’s is an inclusive church and all are welcome.

We are members of the wider Church of England and Anglican Communion, and we are located at the end of the historic High Street in Newton-le-Willows. We seek to glorify God and serve the community in the name of Jesus Christ.

Our main service is our weekly Parish Communion which happens every Sunday morning at 9.30am.

We are also open for worship at 11am on the second Sunday of each month for our family service with Sunday School.

Additionally, there is a weekly service of Evening Prayer on a Monday at 5pm and Holy Communion on Wednesday at 10am.

St Peter’s is part of the Newton Team of Churches which encompasses All Saint’s Newton, Emmanuel Wargrave, St John the Baptist Earlestown and St Michael’s Burtonwood.

St Peter’s C of E Primary School is linked with the Church and is an integral part of our Church community.

For baptisms (also known as christenings), weddings, funerals and or burials of ashes, please contact our Team Vicar Rev James Taylor.
