We are pleased to announce that the Larger Single Parish in Winwick Deanery will be known as:

The Parish of Christ the Good Shepherd

The name reflects the biblical image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd, bringing together themes of care, nurture, protection and sacrificial love.

We are also delighted to share that The Revd Martin Cox has accepted nomination as Rector-Designate of the new parish.
