Like all Churches, The Good Shepherd Bamfurlong was closed on Mothering Sunday, 22nd March. On the Saturday beforehand, four Church members left free bunches of daffodils in a bucket tied to the fence, so that passers-by could help themselves. Next to the flowers, we put up a notice saying "Don't be stuck! Happy Mothering Sunday! With love xx and a heart picture. We then had to walk away and trust God that people would help themselves.
