We were delighted to welcome Jay Blades of 'The Repair Shop' to St Jude's Community Drop-in on Thursday 31st January. Jay joined chef Carlene Bagot to prepare and serve a hot lunch of beef curry and veg curry. We were very grateful for his help and many of us enjoyed meeting him.
The St Jude's Community Drop-In is open every Tuesday 12pm-3pm with hot food and refreshments served in a warm space with friendly people to talk with; a free library and some second hand clothes are available. People living in the local community can also access a food bank run by the Newington Green Action Group.
