In times of crisis, the instinct of many is to slip into church, say a quiet prayer, and sense the abiding presence of God. The closure of churches in this period of lockdown has therefore been a keenly felt deprivation, so we are delighted that we can at least open for private prayer.

St Mary with St Alban will be open on Wednesdays (9.30am-12.30pm)

For those who are able, please come and spend some quiet time in church. For those who are still housebound, please know that we will continue to pray for you and look forward to the day when all can return to church.

St Mary with St Alban, Teddington

St Mary with St Alban is an ancient parish church located near the river in Teddington. We offer a lively mix of traditional and contemporary worship; a friendly welcome to people of all ages and backgrounds; and a passion to serve our community. We are delighted to have been awarded a Bronze Eco Church Award too. 

The parish of St Mary Teddington is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
