The Low Mass
Low Mass is a simple and prayerful celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Without music or ceremony, it offers a still moment of encounter with God in Word and Sacrament.
In this quieter form of the Mass, we are invited into a deeper silence — a space to listen, to reflect, and to be renewed by Christ’s presence. Here, without distraction, we can attend closely to the mystery unfolding before us: the offering of Christ on the Cross made present for us again at the altar.
The celebrant leads us through the prayers and readings, proclaiming the Word of God and consecrating the bread and wine so that they become the Body and Blood of Christ. Though the form is simple, the grace we receive is no less abundant.
At Low Mass, the focus is not on outward splendour, but on the quiet intimacy of faith — a personal meeting with the Lord who feeds and strengthens us for the life of discipleship.
