A relaxed and reflective service of either Prayer and Praise or Holy Communion. We share our thoughts and questions about the Bible readings rather than hearing a sermon. Hymns and songs are chosen as the service goes on and we share in tea, coffee and a chat afterwards.
Even though we can't be together in person we are still a very active community via the various online platforms.
I'll be hosting a regular Communion Service at 10.00am every Sunday via a Live link on our Facebook page. There will be prayers, a thought from me, and we will share virtual communion together so have a piece of bread and a drink with you. There is also now a regular slot on Tuesdays at 2.00pm on Facebook "Ask the Vicar' where you can ask me anything that's on your mind and I'll do my best to respond. Our daily Thought of the Day also continues on Facebook on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Find us on www.facebook.com/stmarymagdalenelittletonuk.
And also you are most welcome to join our weekly prayer meeting on Zoom. Please phone or email me at the office for details. Various groups such as Beer & Bible are continuing via online platforms so please contact me if you would like to be put in touch.
In the midst of this time of worry and uncertainty our team of volunteers have been busy supporting those who need assistance. If you have any needs please phone 01932 562249 straight away and do keep checking in on each other as much as possible. Please continue to support our local food banks if you can. Click here for details.
NEW! We now have a Giving Page so you can continue to support the work of the church financially if you are able to do so. For online donations follow the link via Littleton Online. Or go to our Giving Page for other ways in which you can help. Last but by no means least, as you know prayer is at the heart of our faith. As a praying community let's join together everyday at 6.00pm in saying the Lord's Prayer. In that prayer we ask God to send his kingdom to earth as it is in heaven and last time I checked there was no coronavirus in heaven. We believe in a God who does miracles when we pray and right now our world needs one!
You're all so much in my prayers.
