August is often a quiet time in our church and this year is no exception. Mother Anna and Mother Patricia will each be taking leave so things will be a little different until Monday 6 September, when everyone will be back from their summer break.
Today we welcome a guest preacher at St Aldhelm's, the Rev'd Dr Ayla Lepine, who as well as being a priest in the Church of England is also an art historian, a theologian and a curator at the National Gallery.
On Sunday 4 July 2021 we welcomed Mother Patricia Brown as our new curate, after her ordination on Saturday 3 July at St Paul’s Cathedral. We are delighted to have her with us and look forward to worshipping God with her.
