St James' knitters unveil an Easter themed postbox topper!

Easter Church_news Community_news

St James Alperton celebrates Jesus rising from the dead on Easter Sunday. This is a joyful time for our church and our knitting club wanted to share that joy with the Alperton community. This is why early Easter Sunday saw members of the church on Ealing Road, setting up our first postbox topper. This can be found outside the Ealing Road Post office and comes complete with two angels and an empty tomb. Do come and see it and let us know what you think!

Our knitting group meets monthly and is one of St James' most popular "spaces".  Knitting is a great way to meet other people. Our knitting space is open to all, you don't have to be a Christian or attend the services. Nor do you need to know how to knit as our more skilled members are happy to teach you the basics. It is free to attend and you are welcome. Contact [email protected] for more details.
