As St James has a new vicar joining us on Thursday, this means that we have to say farewell to Rev'd Akin and his lovely wife. This is a bitter-sweet time for us. 

When Rev'd Akin joined us in January 2025, the plan was for him to stay for 4 months. He kindly agreed to stay on until the Rev'd Adel Shokralla joined us. That time has come, so we have to say goodbye. 

 As Interim Priest, Akin could have just done the minimum, however he and his wife, have gone way beyond that and clearly given their all. Under their love and care, St James has gone from strength to strength. He and his wife will be sorely missed.
