On Tuesday morning, Revd Adel made the arduous journey from the vicarage to the Mount Pleasant Open Space. He made this exhausting trek to join Freda, Chris and Sandria from FOMPOS in a meeting with Brent council parks service. They were there to discuss planned renovations to the space. 

FOMPOS (Friends of Mount Pleasant Open Space) is an organisation that is open to all residents of the local area and communities. You can find out more by ringing 07702 814456 or via St James Church.

They had a successful meeting with Samantha Haines and Yazy Aboubakarv from Brent Council Parks services who agreed that the raised beds would be replaced or fixed by April 2026.  

Revd Adel is keen to see the area improved and has hinted St James may organise some community events in the space later in the year. Watch this Space!
