Our mid-week mass is on Wednesday’s 12noon to 12:45pm. And part of the church’s regular worship schedule. It is a time for the congregation to gather, participate in the Service of the Word and prepare for the Service of the Sacrament, which is the Holy Communion. The mass is structured around the reading of scripture, prayer and the celebration of the Eucharist, which is the central act of worship in the Anglican tradition. The mass is a communal experience where the congregation shares in the life of Christ through the reading of scripture, the prayers and the sharing of Holy Communion.

• The Service of the Sacrament: This part involves the Eucharist, where the bread and wine are offered to the faithful, symbolising the body and blood of Christ.
• The Eucharistic Prayer: A special prayer of thanksgiving offered by the priest in the name of all who are gathered, giving thanks for all that God has given us in Christ
• The Communion: The community receives the consecrated bread and wine, signifying the sharing of Christ’s body and blood.
The parish mass is a communal act of worship that brings together the community to celebrate the faith, seek forgiveness and receive the Holy Spirit. It is a time for prayer, reflection and proclamation of the faith.
