A Service of the Word by phone every Sunday at the new time of 1:30pm, with collect and Bible readings for the day, a short reflection, intercesssions and individual prayer. Contact the parish office (07704 694445) for details of the phone number and code needed.

This service is mainly intended for those who are sick or housebound, and their carers, although anyone who cannot attend church in person is very welcome. We have taken the decision to make this service audio-only so that all our worshippers including those who may only have a landline or older type mobile phone are not missing out. Zoom services with audio-visual cover are available at other times.

St Michael and All Angels, Stonebridge

Welcome to the parish church of St Michael and All Angels, Stonebridge.

We are open every Sunday for a Parish Eucharist at 10:00am.  It is a joy to be able to gather once again to share in Word and Sacrament. We have taken precautions to make the service as safe as possible and those who attend are welcome to join is as much as they consider safe in their own circumstances.

Our Sunday then continues with "Church on the Phone" at 1:30pm, where we hear the Bible readings set for Sunday and pray together. We also provide sermons online and via a dedicated phone line, and additional material on our website. This service is a permanent addition to our calendar in parallel with our physical reopening. 

Midweek services are available: Morning Prayer, Wednesday Prayer Fellowship, Saturday Holy Communion and other activities .

Home visits and communion by extension have now resumed; if you would like a visit please call so that we can plan the safest way to interact. As the pandemic situation changes, we plan to extend our service offering in the buildings and continue to provide other ways for those who cannot attend in person to connect.

The parish of St Michael Stonebridge is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
