Palm Sunday marks the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, while the crowds waved palm branches and shouted "Hosanna!" (an exclamation of praise). Palm Sunday is a time of mixed sentiment because, although triumphal, it leads into the events of Holy Week and the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus.
*Gather at 9.50am outside Norwood Green Care Home (on Tentelow Lane), processing to the church for a 10am start to the service. Everybody will be given a palm cross to wave.
