Good Friday

Occurring
for 3 hours
Venue
St John's Church Southall Green
Address
St John's Parish Centre, Havelock Road, Southall, UB2 4NT, United Kingdom

Join us this Good Friday for a solemn and reflective service from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, as we remember the final hours of Jesus’ journey to the cross.

This extended time of worship offers space to pause, reflect, and engage with the depth of Good Friday through scripture readings, prayer, moments of silence, and meditative reflections. You are welcome to stay for the full three hours or come and go as you are able.

Together, we will journey through the events of the crucifixion, creating space to contemplate the sacrifice of Jesus and its meaning for us today.

All are warmly invited to take part in this sacred time.

Safeguarding

Every person has a value and dignity which comes directly from the creation of male and female in God’s own image and likeness. Christians see this potential as fulfilled by God’s re-creation of us in Christ. This implies a duty to value all people as bearing the image of God and therefore to protect them from harm.

St John’s Southall is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. We want to create a safe place for everyone to worship and grow in Christ.

Concerns about children, young people and adults at risk will be diligently and promptly responded to according to our procedures, recognising the sensitivity it may hold for those involved.
