Parish Communion with activities for households with children

Our main act of worship is Communion takes place at 10am on most Sundays. This is a communion service using Common Worship with hymns and a robed choir. Beginning together in Church, we offer Covid-secure activities for households with children of all ages in the Church Hall, sending these household groups out after the introduction to the service (children must be accompanied by one parent or guardian). These groups re-join the congregation in the church for communion and the last part of the service.
On regular occasions and for festivals like Christmas and Easter the Parish Communion becomes an all-age service with everyone together in church.

Encounter is an informal all-age communion service that takes place in the church hall on the 3rd Sunday of each month (as always, unless displaced by a major festival). While the structure and language of the service are faithful to Common Worship, the music is led by our band and the prayers and messages of the service are accessible for people of all ages.
