Maundy Thursday is the day when we remember Jesus sharing the Last Supper with his disciples before his death.
Maundy Thursday gets its name from the Latin word mandare meaning to command. We remember Jesus' command: 'Love one another as I have loved you'.
We gather at The Salvation Army to walk through Uxbridge together. We do this to remember that Jesus had to carry his cross publicly through the streets of Jerusalem. It is a public statement of faith, a retelling of the crucifixion story and a reminder of Jesus’ words ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.'
We will meet at The Salvation Army, 16b Cowley Road, Uxbridge UB8 2LT, to start at 11am. There will be stops in Uxbridge town centre and the Passion drama will take place in front of St Margaret’s. Afterwards there will be hot crossed buns inside St Margaret’s.
Good Friday is the day when Christians remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. It is a sombre day. We meet, pray and reflect on the sacrifice Jesus willingly paid for all our sins.

There is a creche and Sunday School every Sunday, apart from when the All Age Eucharist takes place, usually the second Sunday in each month, when the young people join us in church.

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate because Jesus died for our sins and then rose again.
On the third day after being crucified, Jesus' tomb was found to be empty. He had risen from the dead. Life triumphs over death! The joy of resurrection is possible only because Christ endured death and conquered it.
Drop In for those who have been bereaved
This is a low intensity gentle exercise class, fun and social for those who want to get back to exercise or are new to exercise, with all abilities welcome. Mostly seated exercises. It is not a dance class or exercise to music.
Held in the Upper Room at St Margaret's. Just come along, no need to book. £3 per session.

Term Time only
Every Tuesday evening 7 to 10pm in St Andrew’s Church Hall. A time of fellowship and fun, where you can meet with others to play tabletop games, anything from Snap to Warhammer. An opportunity to chat as we gather together, followed by time to share in a simple version of Morning Prayer, as we offer the day to God and have the opportunity to share and pray for concerns that are on our hearts and in the wider world.
