From Darkness to Light - Please join us at St Margaret’s as we remember and celebrate the time when God drew nearby coming among us as a tiny vulnerable baby in the person of Jesus. We light candles to remind us of the light he brought into the world and we echo the joy of the angels in the carols that we will sing. We pray that this service will be a special time when you can experience God drawing near to you. Emmanuel – God is with us!
Drop In for those who have been bereaved
Drop in for tea, coffee and chat in St Margaret's Foyer. Maybe even biscuits! There will always be a member of clergy present to talk to you about whatever is concerning you. And the church is open for private prayers.
This is a low intensity gentle exercise class, fun and social for those who want to get back to exercise or are new to exercise, with all abilities welcome. Mostly seated exercises. It is not a dance class or exercise to music.
Held in the Upper Room at St Margaret's. Just come along, no need to book. £3 per session.

Term Time only
Every Tuesday evening 7 to 10pm in St Andrew’s Church Hall. A time of fellowship and fun, where you can meet with others to play tabletop games, anything from Snap to Warhammer. There will be a refreshments bar. Games will be provided, or you can bring your own favourites. Entrance is by voluntary donation. For more information contact [email protected] or
We love to offer the opportunity for those who would like to come together with God and with one another via Zoom. An opportunity to chat as we gather together, followed by time to share in a simple version of Morning Prayer, as we offer the day to God and have the opportunity to share and pray for concerns that are on our hearts and in the wider world.

We particularly welcome children, with their families, to this service (as well as the ‘young at heart’!) and hope that we can reflect something of the example of Jesus when he said ‘Let the children come to me and do not hinder them’.
As we focus on Jesus, we remember that, right at the centre of Christmas is an amazing gift - God himself coming among us as a tiny vulnerable baby and showing an incredible heart of love for us. We pray that we may welcome him and experience something of the love that he brings.

Whether you're alone or with family, gather with our St Margaret's community for a Christmas Day service for all ages. Sing carols with us and celebrate the birth of Our Lord.

We are a collection point for Foodbank, if you already have a voucher. If you have not got a voucher yet, we can give advice and help you get one.
A different and creative way of doing church for children and families. Each Messy Church event includes craft activities, songs, stories but most of all it is an opportunity for families to grow in faith together and build new friendships.
