St Michael & All Angels w St Catherine

Standing proudly and very firmly within the Catholic Tradition of the Church of England, we aim to proclaim the love of God to the people that we serve.

We are a modern yet traditional, humorous, supportive and inclusive worshiping community. We offer a warm welcome where all have the opportunity to encounter the love of God with us. Our worship is modern, un-fussy and lively yet dignified, reverent, biblical and rooted in Christian Tradition.

At the request of the Parochial Church Council and Parish Priest, the Bishop of Manchester has placed us under the pastoral and sacramental care of the Rt Revd Stephen Race, Bishop of Beverley, the Provincial Episcopal Visitor.

We have excellent facilities including a private car park, an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities within the church, a children’s corner with books games and activities, a library, and a full loop system for people who have difficulty in hearing.

We are a lively congregation of all ages who seek God's will in an ever more complex and challenging world.

The notice boards both inside & outside our church you will be able to see many of the social as well as spiritual events held at St Michael & All Angels throughout the year as well as details of forthcoming events that happen in Barton and Peel Green.
