You are very welcome to join us in Holy Rood Memorial Hall every Wednesday from 10am until 11:30am for an informal get together for coffee and chat. Please note that this is during Term Time only.

We welcome you to join us for our Sunday Morning at the new start time of 10am! It's a service of Sung Eucharist i.e. Holy Communion to a sung setting with hymns, readings and prayers. Afterwards you are invited to join us in the Moorside Memorial Hall for coffee and conversation.

Please join us for our Harvest Festival Service which takes place at 10am on Sunday, 4th October 2026 as we give thanks that "all is safely gathered in". Harvest Gifts of any long life, non-perishable goods and toiletries will be appreciated and donated to Salford Loaves And Fishes.
As always, the service will be followed by a chance for coffee and a chat in the Memorial Hall.

We invite you to join us for this special service when we remember our departed loved ones with an opportunity to light a candle for them ~ to reflect on their lives and the hope that shines through them into our lives.
A chance to remember those we have lost; listening to comforting words, praying for family members and those we have loved but no longer see.

If you would like us to read out the name and light a candle for a departed member of your family then do let us know via the "Get In Touch" page on this website.

Light refreshments will be served in the Hall after the service.

Please join us for our annual Act Of Remembrance on Sunday, 8th November starting in church at 9:45am which will culminate in gathering around the War Memorial at 11:00 am for the national two minute silence ~ our annual opportunity to honour the fallen; we WILL remember them!

We meet by candlelight in the Lady Chapel at 6:45pm for a 7pm start on some Friday evenings. It's a time of contemplative prayer; simply spending time in God's presence as we all round off a busy week ~ it will be lovely to have you with us!

Please come and visit us at the Holy Rood Christmas Fair in the Memorial Hall, Swinton M27 0HJ Craft stalls, activities for all ages and a visit from Father Christmas! It's open from 12noon to 3pm

You are invited to join us for a traditional service of Christmas readings and carols with special items from the choir directed by Gary Owen, our Organist & Choirmaster. Following the service please join us for a mince pies and mulled wine in the Moorside Community Memorial Hall.

Please come and join us as we explore the significance of the Christingle orange and celebrate the fact that Jesus is "the light of the world" ~ a wonderful part of the Christmas story suitable for all ages.
