Thursday, 9th May 2024 is Ascension Day, the day when we celebrate that our Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven to be reunited with his Father. We are marking this by coming together for a team service of Holy Communion at St Mary's, Ellenbrook starting at 7:30pm; please do join us on this first day of Thy Kingdom Come 2024.

We would love to welcome you to Holy Rood Church on Moorside Road in Swinton where our Sunday morning service starts at 9:30am. Please see the "Services and events" page for more information.

THIS COMING SATURDAY EVENING! Please join us for "An Evening With The Andante Choir" at 7:30pm on Saturday, 25th May 2024. In addition to a full programme of musical entertainment the ticket price of £10 includes interval refreshments of a meat & potato or cheese & onion pasty plus a glass of wine, lager or soft drink. Regular events include:

Tuesday Afternoons: Line Dancing in the hall 1pm to 3pm ~ all are welcome including absolute beginners. The cost is £4 per session including tea, coffee and biscuits ~ well worth it for the fun and friendship.

Wednesday Mornings: it's Coffee Time 10am - 11:30am! You are very welcome to join us in Holy Rood Memorial Hall every Wednesday during Term Time for an informal get together for coffee and chat. At our coffee morning we have toast, crumpets, croissants, brioche and more along with coffee or tea.
