On the last Monday of the month at 7pm we meet in the Ellesmere Chapel for the traditional service of Compline. Compline, or night prayer, is a Christian service of worship coming from monastic life in the Middle Ages. It consists of psalms, short passages of scripture, a hymn and prayers.

Latest News re Sunday, 11th January NO FAMILY SERVICE HERE TODAY ~ our next Family Service is at 9:15am on Sunday, 25th January 2026 with Jill and Liz. We still have our 8am Communion Service with our Area Dean Revd Richard Worsfold and 10:30am Morning Prayer Service with our ALMS including Children's Church for school age children ☺

We would love to welcome you to join us at St Mark's Church, Worsley. Our Sunday Morning Services are; 8am (Said) Holy Communion Service, 9:15am Family Church, 10:30am Parish Communion Service with hymns. 

The Family Playgroup meets in the church hall from 9:30am until 11:30am on Wednesday mornings during term time; it is now on its Summer Break. 

Baptism/Christening and Wedding enquiries: please contact us using the "Get in touch" page or call in at one of our services; we'd love to welcome you to St Mark's.

St Mark's School: The forms to enroll for entry at St Mark's School are now available in church after each Sunday service.
