St. Margaret’s is a challenging Christian community: dynamic, creative, inclusive of a wide variety of viewpoints.  We are a people of global concern, striving through education to develop alternatives to conflict and injustice.  To do this, we build local networks that make a difference.

We value religious and cultural diversity, working with other faith communities as equal partners.  We seek to be touched by the Divine through the transforming power of worship, experiencing how ordinary things are extra – ordinary.  St. Margaret’s takes as its role model the values of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels: compassion, encouragement, forgiveness.  Contemporary role models are also a source of guidance.

We are both a place and a people: raising awareness, leading to personal empowerment, or in traditional language, spiritual well being.
