William Temple Church, Wythenshawe

Welcome to William Temple Church!

Our vision is simple: “Restoring the Garden City of Wythenshawe and beyond, by loving Jesus, discovering purpose and building community.” Inspired by Isaiah 61, we believe God is in the business of restoration — bringing beauty where there was brokenness, family where there was isolation, and hope where there was despair.

Loving Jesus, describes us both encountering his amazing love for us and learning what it means to become a disciple of Jesus.

By discovering purpose, each of us finds our unique part in God’s story.

And by building community, we commit to being a people who care, serve, and stand together so that our community can be renewed.

Our prayer is that everyone in Wythenshawe and beyond would experience the wholeness and joy God promises through Jesus.
