St James

Welcome to St. James East Crompton. We are people who gather so we can 'Get to know Jesus better' as we believe that his teaching helps us make sense of our own lives and the world around us.

The Sunday services are at 9.30am at St. Saviours and at 11.00am at St. James.  There is a Junior Church at both St James and  St Saviours, which the children enjoy during the first part of the service.

Safeguarding

Our parish of East Crompton - St James and St Saviours is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Mrs Jacqui Adams (01706 299440) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Abbey Clephane-Wilson (0161 828 1400). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
