A Fairtrade stall operates in the church one Sunday each month,

The church has an excellent modern sound system. We plan to install large screens to facilitate worhisp, which will be installed in 2024.
The Parish Centre has a good AV system.

The Strinesdale nature reserve is located in the north-eastern tip of the parish, and is within walking distance of the church.

In terms of Church Urban Fund statistics, the Waterhead Parish is in the 5.7% most deprived parishes in England.
