The name Jesus means, among other things, God heals. Read the gospels and we find Jesus is often busy engaging in healing. And, when he sends out his disciples he tells them to 'preach and heal.' 

We offer healing minsitry in two ways.

One is prayer. We pray for those who ask for pray and, when asked, we visit (and when asked, give communion) people in their homes, in hospital or wherever they are. If you would like to receive this ministry, please contact us.

We also offer the ministry of laying on of hands for Christian healing in church. Every Fourth Sunday of the month a team of people work together to offer this ministry as part of the main 10am Eucharist. People receive communion / blessing and then move to the south chapel to receive this ministry for themselves or for others.

God wants each of us to be whole in mind, body and spirit. He wants to heal all the fractured nature of our lives. We are all invited to receive this extraordinary gift.
