We have a great choir. Our juniors meet at 4pm for their learning (theory and practical) and this is followed by a (free) meal. Then the adults join for more rehearsal time. We are always looking for new singers. If you are interested, do get in touch.

Light up a Life, sponsored by Fred Hamer Funeral Services, is a pivotal moment in Bury Hospice’s calendar. At this very special time of year we come together to remember those we love and miss and the joy they brought to our lives.

Christmas is a special time of year and switching the lights on our Christmas tree is an especially poignant part of our service and marks the moment where we take time to remember our loved ones.

The lights on our tree will shine brightly throughout the festive season as a symbol of our love and remind us of the special people we miss so much.

We are delighted to welcome the Greater Manchester Police Band to our traditional Service of Lessons and Carols. Together, we’ll sing much-loved carols, listen to readings from Scripture that proclaim God’s love for us, and hear the choir lift their voices in song.

The Police Band will join the celebration with glorious brass band music, adding colour, energy, and festive joy to this special occasion.

A Quiet Service
Join us for a peaceful, reflective service rooted in the Book of Common Prayer. With hymns, prayers, and space for stillness, this service offers a gentle moment to look back on the week gone by and prepare your heart and mind for the week ahead.

Sung Evensong
Each week, we also share in Sung Evensong, featuring chants for the canticles and varying Responses. Approximately once a month, this becomes a full Choral Evensong, with the choir singing a complete setting of the canticles—an uplifting and atmospheric act of worship.
