Palm Sunday Parish Communion

Occuring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Cuthbert's
Address
Plessey Road Blyth Northumberland, NE24 3BE, United Kingdom

Start Holy Week with us - meet in our Church Hall where we begin with hymns led by our Music Group, hear the Palm Gospel, followed by a short palm procession around our church grounds into church to start our main service.
We hear a dramatised version of the Palm Sunday Gospel, and continue our service with our usual Eucharist.
Those unable to walk around to the hall are welcome to enjoy the peace our church offers for quiet prayer and contemplation before the Procession reaches our Church.

St Cuthbert's

Thank you for reading about our church, St Cuthbert's.

We are a warm and friendly church, and would love you to come and join us at any of our events and services.  Don't worry if you just want to sit quietly and enjoy the beauty and peace of our church, we will respect that.

Families of all ages are very welcome.  We have space at the back of church where children can play and draw, and still be involved in our service.

Safeguarding

The parish of Blyth: St Cuthbert is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
