We have Sunday Worship every week at 11.15am, with Holy Communion on the first and fifth Sunday of each month. Our service may be led by our Licensed Lay Minister, the Priest in Charge, or the Methodist Circuit Minister. We have formal agreement from the Bishop of Newcastle for joint worship, including Holy Communion, with the Methodist Church and the congregations in Slaley have been united since 2017 in this building.

Our service for the whole village community on Remembrance Sunday. We start at the War Memorial, which is the Lychgate into the Churchyard, with a short Remembrance service in the open air. A silence will be observed and the Last Post and Reveille played at about 11am.
After that you are invited to join us for our usual Sunday morning service during which the theme of 'Remembrance' will be continued in words and singing.

Slaley people are invited to join with our Methodist and Roman Catholic congregations in and around the area. Reverend Marie and Reverend Diana will lead this traditional service of preparation for Christmas. This year's service will be held in the morning at 9.30am in the Methodist Chapel, Broomhaugh.

Join us for our traditional festival of six lessons and carols. Everyone in Slaley and beyond is welcome to join together for this community event. It's a beautiful place to be as we look forward to the Christmas season.

A service of lessons and carols for Christmas Eve at Healey Church. This service is shared with the congregations of Healey and Riding Mill, and the music is led by the organist and singers of St Elizabeth's RC church. There will be suitable refreshments for Christmas directly after the service

This is our main Communion service on Christmas morning, suitable for all ages.
Feel free to bring your presents along; free to wear your Christmas jumper; or free to dress formally. On this joyful morning, it's the welcome we give to one another, and to the Christ-child, that will count.

Lord Jesus, Light of light,
you have come among us.
Help us who live by your light
to shine as lights in your world.
Glory to God in the highest.
Amen.
